Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma and above in Maritime Studies or a relevant discipline.
• Fresh Chief Engineers are welcome to apply.
• COC Class 1 Certified.
• Must have sailed as a Chief Engineer on Bulk/Container vessels.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of technical maintenance, budget control, planning and safety of the vessels.
• Manage ship maintenance plans.
• Ensure vessels comply with statutory safety regulations.
• Organize and monitor all activities connected to class and flag state requirements.
• Monitor vessels performance and implement remedial actions when required.
• Control budgets for assigned vessels.
