Job summary

A leading technology service provider in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to conduct laboratory evaluations and organic analyses using chromatography and spectroscopy. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemistry and has experience with analytical instruments. You will perform method validation, review analytical data, and maintain documentation while interfacing with customers regarding their submissions and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 Quality Management System.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory evaluation and organic analysis using chromatography and spectroscopy methods etc
• Perform method verification and method validation including developing procedures, worksheets, conducting risk assessment and measurement uncertainty estimation as well as training lab staff
• Review analytical data and prepare test reports
• Interface with customers on sample submissions, job status as well as their enquiries and quotations
• Maintain and upkeep laboratory records and documentations

Key Requirements

• Degree / Master / PhD in Chemistry or a related discipline
• Those with hands-on working experience in operating analytical instruments and familiar with ISO 17025 Quality Management System will be an added advantage
• Results and service oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
• Enthusiastic and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude
