Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with clients on samples submission, job status as well as their enquiries and quotations.
  • Recording of incoming samples.
  • Coordinate on the sample distribution and results updates.
  • Responsible for testing operation of their respective areas.
  • Perform laboratory chemical analysis and evaluation of materials using analytical instrument to ensure compliance to international standards.
  • Perform the works related to safety and quality control, as well as prepare the documents accordingly.
  • Purchase of materials, instruments and test equipment used for jobs.
  • Updating of job files, job status and proper keeping of such records.
  • Preparing test reports as assigned.
  • Ensuring equipment are calibrated according to planned schedule and maintaining calibration records.
  • Perform method validation and verification as required.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of laboratories, proper arrangement of test samples and equipment.
  • Authorize and release final test results if delegated by Technical Manager.
  • Approve Test Reports if delegated by Technical Manager.
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemistry or related
  • Good communication skill and able to keep a good relationship with colleagues
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Able to work independently as well as with a team
  • Able to perform multiple tasks within the same timeline and work under stress
