Job description
Day Technician
  • Work Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided near Jurong East MRT)
  • Work hours: 8 am to 4.30 pm (Mon-Fri)
  • Salary range: $2200 - $3000 + $200(Site Allowance
Position Summary

The Day Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the production process operations at the EVAL Manufacturing site, which will commence in the second half of 2026. This role involves monitoring and maintaining all process materials inventory by conducting materials receiving and unloading for the process unit. This role expected to conduct additive preparation in accordance with established procedures and specifications, ensuring safe and efficient production. Reporting to the Day Supervisor, the Day Technician will receive training and learning opportunities in EVAL production technology from experienced company members until the production line starts. Additionally, the Day Technician will participate in equipment commissioning activities to achieve a safe and stable commissioning and startup of the new EVAL plant.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as, changing small valves, replacing filters, connecting hoses, breaking flanges, and cleaning of equipment/area.
  • Highlight Maintenance request notifications need to Supervision.
  • Support shift operation on grade change transition as per Supervision instruction.
  • Receive and track all incoming goods and outgoing isotainer shipped materials.
  • Closely monitor material inventories by conducting stock count and plan with Day Supervisor or Packaging Warehouse Supervisor to ensure material inventories are sufficient for daily production.
  • Assist in verifying and investigating inventory variance when arises.
  • Liaise with the Day Supervisor and Packaging Warehouse Supervisor on the raw materials storage and receiving matters.
  • Comply with hazardous material handling process and storage procedures.
  • Act as backup during the absence of the other Day Chemical Technician.
  • Act as backup and assistance to shift Chemical Technician when assigned.
  • Commissioning and de-commissioning of process equipment.
  • Proper handing and blending of non-conforming and off specs products.
  • Assist in preparing plant equipment for maintenance and ensure all required
  • Lockout, Tagout and Tryout has been performed.
  • Preparing chemicals, including mixing and dilution, for process operations.
  • Performing inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures.
  • Performing emergency response activities and drills.
  • Maintain acceptable housekeeping in assigned areas.
  • Understand and comply with departmental Safety and Environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Programs.
