Qualifications

• Adept with respiratory protection for at least 3 continuous hours.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Life Science projects for clients.
• Conduct equipment power supply and control activities.
• Load production equipment and set instruments as per formulas.
• Document all executed activities.
• Collaborate with Shift Manager / Production Support for operations.
• Ensure regularity of production operations.
• Pick up materials from delivery areas to shop floor.
• Transfer liquids from trucks to tank storage.
• Report anomalies to maintain efficiency and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness in the working area.
• Control work progress according to scheduling.
• Analyze unexpected negative trends with Shift Manager.
• Identify inefficiencies and use Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Support Manufacturing Shift supervisor as needed.
• Promote company services in addition to client assistance.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients
• Conduct activities of equipment power supply and control to assure proper functioning of the plant; move raw material and process solvents received by Production Warehouse personnel
• Load production equipment and perform activities to set instruments, services and plant up to meet manufacturing formulas, operating procedures or Shift Manager dispositions
• Document all activities executed or to be executed; sign and date official production documentation
• Communicate and collaborate with Shift Manager / Production Support for all operations, solve anomalies and suggest solutions
• Autonomously assure regularity of production operations (reactions, distillation, transfers, etc.) by verifying on control panels and instruments (DCS, alarms, etc.) the process parameters
• Collaborate with Warehouse to pick up materials (raw materials and/or process solvents) from delivery areas to shop floor, communicating critical situations (quantities verification, codes, batch number, etc.) to Shift Manager
• Transfer liquids from trucks to tank storage and vice versa
• Report any anomalies to instruments or equipment to maintain high efficiency and safety level in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices
• Maintain high level of cleaning in the working area; dedicate parts of working hours to housekeeping operations of department areas and equipment following instructions of Shift Manager/Production Control
• Contribute to eliminate inefficiencies and waste
• During shift, control that work progresses in line with scheduling; assure registration of SIC (Short Interval Control) data contributing to DWOR (Daily Weekly Operating Report)
• Analyze with Shift Manager / Production Support unexpected causes of negative trends
• Identify inefficiencies and wastes, paying attention to quality in operative activities and processes/products using tools of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (root cause analysis, problem solving, workshops, 5S)
• Provide support to Manufacturing Shift supervisor as needed
• Contribute to promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to client

Requirements

• NITEC / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical related degree
• At least 2-4 years experience in chemical or cGMP manufacturing environment and record maintenance
• Able to work comfortably in 12-hour rotating shift (Day/Night)
• Comfortable lifting 15kg
• Comfortable with outdoor environment
• Comfortable with respiratory protection for at least 3 continuous hours
• Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
