Overview

Responsibilities
  • Operate batch processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Perform equipment line-ups and operate reactors in accordance with established protocols.
  • Manually charge raw materials and chemicals into reactors as required.
  • Conduct drumming operations as per process requirements.
  • Identify and report any process, equipment, or environmental abnormalities, incidents, or near-misses to the Shift Superintendent, Engineer, or Production Manager. Participate in incident investigations when required.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Perform scheduled housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Ensure proper handover and communication during shift changes.
  • Serve as a member of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Requirements
  • ITE Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Materials Science, Mechanical, Petroleum/Oil & Gas), or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the chemical or process industry is preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills.
  • Able to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with manual operations in a production plant environment.
  • Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts on Jurong Island.
  • Remuneration will be based on qualifications and relevant experience.
