Job summary

Nanyang Technological University seeks a Senior Executive to support daily operations of the Chemical Store within the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. You will oversee bulk chemical purchases, forecasting, supplier negotiations, and deliveries for teaching labs and research teams.

You will ensure safety compliance, manage storage, waste disposal, and the CBC Store Online Inventory System, while handling invoicing and inter-billings with accuracy and transparency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, warehousing, chemistry, engineering or a science-related field.
• 1-3 years experience in educational/logistics/warehouse with science background preferred.
• Knowledge of basic chemistry/biology/engineering and safety regulations.
• Proficient data analytics to analyse cost, impact, risk and benefits.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing.

Responsibilities

• Handle bulk purchases and deliveries for research groups and Chemical Store.
• Forecast inventory and monitor stock in CBC Store Online Inventory System.
• Process monthly invoicing and intra-billings for research teams.
• Support waste disposal and safety compliance with the safety committee.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage storage and regulatory requirements for chemicals.
• Maintain records and generate reports for management.
