Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a Production Engineer to manage daily production processes and ensure quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, at least 1 year of experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, while knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage. This role requires teamwork and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Background in adhesive, paint, or chemical industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage daily production processes to meet output and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot process deviations and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Actively participate in daily production tasks, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
  • Step in for operators when necessary to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Conduct inspections, calibrations, and adjustments on machinery.
  • Collect and analyze production data, prepare performance reports, and document production logs.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments and support operator training.
  • Drive continuous improvement for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.

Skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of AutoCAD
