Job summary

Stahl in Singapore seeks a Production Technician to operate chemical manufacturing activities in the Production Department, including forklift and stacker operations as guided by work instructions and safety standards.

You will support the Production Supervisor with troubleshooting, batch processing, and independent ownership of production tasks, while actively identifying safety and quality issues and contributing improvements within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• Understanding of chemical processes and safe plant operations.
• At least 1 year of experience with DCS/PLC.
• Willing to learn and contribute improvement ideas.
• Good teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Forklift license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform stages of chemical manufacturing activities, forklift and stacker activities per work instructions and safety standards.
• Assist Production Supervisor in troubleshooting quality and process problems.
• Batch processing in a partial manual work environment.
• Be trained to be part of the Emergency Response Team.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of production activities.
• Identify process abnormalities, safety concerns, and quality deviations and take corrective actions.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.
