Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Chemical Technician to support Our electroplating operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining chemical baths, operating plating equipment, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting chemists/Engineers on design Of experiment (e.g. experiments in wet chemical lab and metal plating), collect data, analyze, and compile reports on a variety Of experiments, within safety guidelines.
  • Characterize film properties using a range Of techniques
  • Generate internal and external documentation for presentations and technical reports.
  • Follow all safety protocols and handle chemicals in accordance With regulatory guidelines
  • Support continuous improvement
Key Requirements
  • Diploma or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Chemistry, or related discipline
  • Hands-on experience in wet chemistry or electroplating operations, including chemical bath preparation, plating equipment setup, and solution analysis
  • Familiar with analytical instruments such as pH meters, titrators, spectrometers, or film thickness measurement tools
  • Strong understanding of chemical safety, MSDS handling, and EHS protocols; able to maintain high housekeeping and compliance standards
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, and report generation to support design of experiments (DOE) and process optimization
  • Experience maintaining laboratory documentation, SOPs, and quality records in compliance with ISO or GMP standards
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Effective team player with good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers and chemists
