Chemical Process Engineer – Waste & Recycling

Location: Tuas, Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if candidate possess own transport

Working Days & Hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

Basic: $3800 to $4300 + site allowances

Responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents.

Job Specifications

  • At least a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering
  • Min 1 years of process industry experience
  • Strong working knowledge of process related standards, Process Improvement and Safety Management

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing processes, take measurements and interpret data including SCADA system operations (in line with company towards digitalization)
  • Research, design, and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow
  • Oversee operations and maintenance of facility processes
  • Determine the organization and setup of operations
  • Oversee implementation of new processes and procedures
  • Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve throughput and quality of output
  • Manage cost and time constraints
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions
  • Involve and perform PSM and Hazop study
  • Become turn key manager to plan and execute plant shutdown
  • To undertake any other assignment given by the Management from time to time.
