Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage daily processes and ensure quality targets. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the adhesive or chemical industry. Job description
Responsibilities

Monitor and manage daily production processes to meet quality and output targets, promptly addressing process deviations to minimize downtime.

Actively participate in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance, and take over production responsibilities during operator absences to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Perform routine inspections, calibration, and adjustments on machinery and equipment while documenting production activities, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.

Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, prepare daily and weekly performance reports, and ensure accurate recording of production metrics.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, identifying recurring issues and recommending long-term solutions.

Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring safe equipment operation and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Communicate effectively with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams, supporting training programs for operators to enhance their skills.

Propose innovative ideas for continuous improvement, focusing on cost savings and productivity enhancements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the adhesive, paint, or chemical industry is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and AutoCAD.
