Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate existing operational processes to identify areas for improvement, collect performance data and support digitalization initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
• Research, design, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and workflow efficiency.
• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of plant processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Plan and coordinate the setup and organization of process operations, including the introduction of new systems and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve process-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
• Manage project timelines, costs, and resources to achieve operational objectives.
• Participate in Process Safety Management and Hazard and Operability studies.
• Lead and coordinate activities related to plant shutdowns and major maintenance events.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering with at least 1 year of experience in a process or manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of process optimization, safety management and relevant engineering standards
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and drive improvement initiatives
• Team‑oriented, proactive and adaptable to dynamic operational requirements
