Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate analytical and testing (Physical and Wet Chemical) procedures in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Review and verify all test results and calculations prior to submission to the Chemist or Supervisor.
• Support equipment and product qualification, as well as analytical method validation when required.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments (e.g., analytical balances).
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment, actively participating in 3S, risk assessments, and workplace health and safety initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and breakdowns.
• Assist in audit preparation and compliance activities.
• Adhere to the company's safety policies at all times.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/Material Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in a chemistry laboratory environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently and willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Gas Chromatography, Colorimetric Titration, Mass Spectrometry, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography experience is a plus.
• Training will be provided for those without experience.
