Job Summary
The Chemical Engineer plays a critical leadership role in managing daily production operations within the Battery Recycling Plant. This role is accountable for production planning, process stability, quality performance, and team execution, ensuring manufacturing targets are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established work instructions. You will lead and develop production teams, manage resources, resolve operational challenges, and ensure consistent execution across shifts while maintaining a strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and equipment reliability.
In this role, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, partner closely with Engineering and Maintenance teams, and use data‑driven insights to improve productivity, quality, and capacity utilisation. As a key contributor to plant performance, you will be responsible for performance reporting, workforce capability development, and operational discipline, supporting SK tes’ mission of delivering sustainable and high‑performance recycling operations.
