MEXICAN FOOD CORP PTE. LTD. at GYG is seeking a Chef to join our kitchen team in Singapore. You will prepare and cook meals to our high standards and keep the kitchen running smoothly during service.

You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality, timely orders, and a clean, safe, organised workspace. This role involves supporting the Head Chef and maintaining stock, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen or commercial cooking environment.
• Good understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to GYG recipes and standards.
• Ensure food quality, portioning and presentation are consistent.
• Prepare ingredients and manage your assigned kitchen station.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
• Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team when required.
