  • Ensure the Executive Chef’s instructions are accurately implemented in all kitchen operations.

  • Oversee food purchasing and storage based on demand to minimize waste and ensure efficiency.

  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, ensuring adherence to the cleaning schedule and food safety regulations.

  • Manage daily mise en place and ordering for the assigned section, ensuring all preparations are completed efficiently.

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of recipes, culinary techniques, and ingredients used in the kitchen.

  • Monitor and track kitchen wastage, developing strategies to reduce or repurpose excess ingredients.

  • Ensure all food is checked daily for quality, quantity, and freshness to maintain high standards.

  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior to support smooth kitchen operations.
