A leading lifestyle company in Singapore is seeking kitchen staff for various tasks, including food preparation and cleaning. Responsibilities include assisting chefs, managing inventory, and adhering to food safety standards. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with benefits such as employee discounts and meals provided.
5-6 days work week
Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, measuring spices, and marinating meats.
Follow recipes and instructions to help cook dishes under the direction of chefs or cooks.
Keep kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
Ensure the kitchen area is organized and free from hazards.
Help with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
Keep track of supplies and alert the kitchen manager when items are running low.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, cooking, and storage of food.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen to prevent contamination.
Support chefs and cooks by providing them with necessary tools and ingredients.
Assist with plating and garnishing dishes as needed.
Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, and food processors.
Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate person.
Follow all kitchen policies and procedures, including safety protocols and dress code.
