The Chef plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of hawker brands.

Responsibilities
  • In-charge of cooking
  • Assist in kitchen operations
  • Manage / supervise all activities of all cook and other kitchen assistant.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking according to the establishment’s standard recipes and operating procedures.
  • Ensure food quality and customer satisfaction
  • Upkeep hygiene and safety of kitchen
  • Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner
  • Suggest new promotion ideas and ways to improve
  • Control wastage and manage food cost to ensure profitability
  • Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored appropriately
  • Ensure compliance with SFA standards
  • Provide counter service, when needed

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Chef/ Outlet Chef with Chinese cuisines
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
