Job description

We’re hiring a Charity Administration & Compliance Officer to oversee annual charity submissions, maintain the charity portal, and assess registration and compliance applications. If you have experience in financial statement analysis, regulatory assessment, or stakeholder engagement, this role could be a great fit for you.

📍 Nearest MRT: Clarke Quay
🕘 Working Hours: Mon-Thu: 8.30am - 6pm, Fri: 8.30am - 5.30pm OR
Mon-Thu: 9.00am to 6.30pm, Fri: 9.00am to 6.00pm
💰 Salary: $3,200 - $3900/month
🚩 Start Date: Immediate
📅 Duration: 3-months contract (Extendable)

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Manage the annual charity submission process and update the charity portal, including planning, liaising with charitable organisations, delivering guidance.
  • Supervise registration and ongoing compliance for charities and Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs) by reviewing applications, analysing financial statements and supporting documents, and preparing detailed written recommendations for approval or refusal.
  • Performed regulatory duties that includes screening reviews and assistance with enforcement actions if needed.
  • Any other matters assigned.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Accountancy/Business Administration/Finance or related field will be an advantage.
  • Able to read financial statements and conduct basic financial analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of legal and accounting principles will be an added advantage.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Works well independently, shows initiative, is detail-oriented, and a good team player.
