Job description

We’re hiring a Charity Administration & Compliance Officer to oversee annual charity submissions, maintain the charity portal, and assess registration and compliance applications.

📍 Nearest MRT: Clarke Quay
🕘 Working Hours: Mon-Thu: 8.30am - 6pm, Fri: 8.30am - 5.30pm OR
Mon-Thu: 9.00am to 6.30pm, Fri: 9.00am to 6.00pm
💰 Salary: $3,200 - $3,900/month
🚩 Start Date: Immediate
📅 Duration: 3-months contract (Extendable)

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Manage the annual charity submission process and update the charity portal, including planning, liaising with charitable organisations, delivering guidance.

  • Supervise registration and ongoing compliance for charities and Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs) by reviewing applications, analysing financial statements and supporting documents, and preparing detailed written recommendations for approval or refusal.

  • Performed regulatory duties that includes screening reviews and assistance with enforcement actions if needed.

  • Any other matters assigned.

Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Accountancy/Business Administration/Finance or related field will be an advantage.

  • Able to read financial statements and conduct basic financial analysis.

  • Basic knowledge of legal and accounting principles will be an added advantage.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Works well independently, shows initiative, is detail-oriented, and a good team player.
