Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of workers performing wharf support and services tasks.
  • Oversee mooring operations and handle berthing ropes during ship arrival/departure.
  • Manage fuel and water replenishment operations, including hose handling.
  • Provide and manage shore power supply cables' laying/storing for ships.
  • Conduct risk assessments for all tasks and ensure safety compliance.
  • Coordinate service schedules with clients and act as the main point of contact.
  • Train team members on WSS procedures and standards.
  • Escort workers in accordance with security protocols.
  • Execute work for the towing services on time.
  • Ensure the maintenance and pre-checklist records for the two tow trucks are kept and maintained.
  • To report any defects immediately after daily checks.

Requirements:

  • O Level / NTC in any engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (marine/maritime preferred)
  • Able to handle heavy loads and ropes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 and 4 Driving License.
