Job summary

Republic Polytechnic in Singapore is seeking a CET Associate Lecturer for Sport and Exercise Science to deliver modules in Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Programming and Assessment, and Sports and Exercise Prescription. You should have relevant qualifications, a S&C certification, and at least 1 year of practical high-performance experience.

You will coach, assess fitness, demonstrate techniques, and plan periodised programmes.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in physical education, exercise science or related disciplines.
Professional certification in strength and conditioning.
At least 1 year of practical high-performance strength and conditioning experience.
Coach strength and conditioning; conduct fitness assessments; demonstrate exercises; plan periodised prescriptions.
Self-driven team-players with growth mindset; lead learners; meet team standards; pay attention to detail; strong communication; proficient with MS Office and assessment tasks.
Able to commit to at least 2 weekdays and/or night/weekend classes.

Responsibilities

Deliver modules in Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Programming and Assessment, and Sports & Exercise Prescription.
Coach, assess and demonstrate strength & conditioning techniques.
Plan periodised exercise prescriptions for learners.
Lead and inspire learners; maintain accuracy and timeliness.
