Job summary

Job description
Job Responsibilities

In charge of daily operations of the Active Ageing Centre (AAC).

  • Supervise Centre staff
  • Coordinate support services and organize inter-generational activities for the Seniors in the identified blocks within the service cluster
  • Ensure that the programs and activities meet the performance indicators and operating guidelines issued by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC)and preparation of reports
  • To mentor and motivate a team of AAC staff and volunteers
  • Befriending and Buddying to identified seniors
  • To conduct regular outreach to the seniors in the identified blocks
  • Establish and motivate seniors to run mutual help groups
  • Preparation and submission of internal and external reports
  • Supervision and manning of the Alert Alarm System
  • Ensure the Centre is well-maintained at all times
Job Requirements
  • Possess GCE ‘A’ Level or Diploma in Community & Social Service
  • Have at least 4 years of related work experience in AAC
  • Have knowledge on the role and function of AAC, would be an advantage
  • People-oriented and passionate towards working with Seniors and for Seniors
