Job summary

WSH EXPERTS PTE. LTD. invites a qualified field inspector to join our sewer inspection team in Singapore.

You will check sewer flow conditions, ensure correct sewers are sealed and isolated, and verify workmanship of sealing works to our standards. You will report any anomalies to the Board promptly, ensure all work follows safe procedures, handle site audit administration, and liaise on manhole-related matters.

Qualifications

• Diploma Certification with English fluency required.
• WRc defects coding standards knowledge preferred.
• Sewer pipeline assessment certifications recognised.

Responsibilities

• Check on the sewer flow condition.
• Ensure the correct sewer(s) is sealed and completely isolated.
• Ensure the workmanship of the sealing works is satisfactory.
• Report to the Board immediately on any anomalies, debris, materials found inside the manholes.
• Ensure all works comply with safe work procedures.
• Check on any other manhole-related matters as and when required by the Board.
• Perform any administrative duties pertaining to site audit inspections, as and when required by the Board.

Sewer Pipeline Assessment Certification Programme (Singapore Society for Trenchless Technology)

Equivalent certification subject to Board approval

• Perform any administrative duties pertaining to site audit inspections, as and when required by the Board

Requirements

• Certificate of Competency in “WRc Sewer Pipelines Assessment and Certification Course – for interpretation of CCTV videos and preparation of CCTV reports in accordance with WRc defects coding standard”; or
• Certificate of Proficiency in Sewer Pipeline Assessment Certification Programme conducted by Singapore Society for Trenchless Technology, or
• Other equivalent certification which shall be subject to the Board’s approval.

(ii) Possess at least a minimum qualification of a Diploma Certification and be conversant in both spoken and written English.
