A leading catering company in Singapore is seeking a Catering Operations Manager to provide leadership and ensure smooth operations for various catering events. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Flexibility for travel and weekend work is required. Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
  • 1. Provide leadership and guidance to Catering Operations team
  • 2. Work closely with operations, sales and kitchen team to ensure the clients’ needs are met
  • 3. Oversee and monitor all operations and logistics for all catering events
  • 4. Manage manpower planning to suit different catering needs
  • 5. Monitor service, food and beverage standards and resolve any issues if necessary
  • 6. Build and maintain good working relationship with clients and handle customer complaints
  • 7. Monitor and maintain vehicle standard, food quality, service standard & smooth running of the catering office and central kitchen
  • 8. Understanding with and complying with the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements
  • 9. Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by superiors diligently and professionally.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent customer service and able to interact well with clients
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with strong network
  • Willing to travel overseas if needed
  • Able to work under split shift to meet business needs
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge in banquet spaces, facilities and capabilities of the competitive market
