Catering Driver – Job Scope (Including Tingkat Delivery)
1. Food Delivery (Buffet & Tingkat)
- Safely deliver both buffet catering orders and daily tingkat meals to customers’ homes, offices, or event venues.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery according to schedules and customer instructions.
- Handle food with care to prevent spillage or damage during transport.
2. Collection Duties
- Collect used catering equipment, tingkat containers, and buffet setups after the event or meal service.
- Ensure all reusable containers and equipment are returned to the central kitchen properly.
3. Loading & Unloading
- Load food items, tingkat containers, tables, chairs, and catering equipment into the vehicle neatly and securely.
- Unload items at the customer’s premises or event venue, and assist with basic buffet setup if required.
4. Customer Service
- Present a polite, professional, and punctual image as a representative of the company.
- Follow on-site instructions provided by customers or event coordinators.
- Handle any customer concerns or feedback courteously and report to the office if needed.
5. Vehicle Maintenance
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (e.g., cleanliness, fuel level, tire pressure, roadworthiness).
- Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.
6. Documentation & Recordkeeping
- Verify items before leaving the kitchen to ensure orders are correct and complete.
- Obtain customer signatures for deliveries when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs for daily delivery and collection trips.
7. Ad-hoc Support
- Assist kitchen or store staff in packing or other logistical tasks when there are no deliveries.
- Support warehouse duties such as restocking, organizing equipment, or cleaning.
