The Stage Management Coordinator is responsible for the smooth execution of daily shows and performances, including managing rehearsals, technical calls, and maintenance needs. The role includes supervising segments of seasonal programming (e.g., Halloween Horror Nights), ensuring timely communication with performers regarding operational updates, and handling administrative duties such as VR input, leave tracking, and performer logs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Run daily operational shows and performances and other duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations, including daily communication through show reports to the relevant departments.
- Manage rehearsals, technical rehearsals, performances and maintenance calls (costume, technical etc) as required to ensure smooth delivery of shows and events.
- Supervise sections of seasonal event programming (e.g. manage individual HHN zones and houses).
- Ensure communication of necessary information which pertains to the operation of the assigned entertainment shows(s) to performers of the show(s).
- Assist in supporting all performers under their assigned shows, including but not limited to VR input, leave tracking and performers log.
Requirements
- GCE N/O/A Levels, ITE Certificate, Diploma or WSQ Equivalent in a related discipline (Theatre, Theme Park, TV or Events).
- Minimum 2 years of related industry experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong events and show operational knowledge.
- Proven show calling ability.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a high degree of adaptability.
- Knowledge of HR practices and fair management is a bonus.
- Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Able to stand for long hours and work in an environment where there can be hot, humid and wet weather.
