Job summary

ECARPENTRY WERKSHOP PTE. LTD. is seeking a Carpenter for both new apprentices and experienced workers to join our workshop in Singapore. The role involves reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping lumber, and fabricating/installing furniture, cabinets, and shelves with precision.

The candidate will inspect work areas, perform maintenance, and ensure tasks are completed within the set timelines, while operating woodworking machinery with confidence and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements.
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated.
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
• Able to complete task within the timeline.
• Able to operate the machineries with ease.
• Keen eye for details.
