Job summary

RENDER PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a skilled carpenter in Singapore to read blueprints, take precise measurements, and cut and shape lumber and other materials. You will build window frames, doors, staircases and framed structures using raw or pre-constructed components, and install flooring, roofing or drywall as required.

Responsibilities include assembling furniture, cabinets and shelves, inspecting sites, performing repairs, and constructing scaffolding.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as carpenter.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Physically fit to work long hours, nights, Sundays and holidays.
• Familiar with safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work odd hours.

• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements.
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frames from raw or pre-constructed items.
• Lay out flooring, roofing or drywall ensuring level and compatible surfaces.
• Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and install them as directed.
• Inspect sites and perform repairs or maintenance.
• Construct scaffolding and other structures as needed.

Job description

Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to grasp requirements fully

Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed

Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements

Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items

Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible

Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated

Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance

Build scaffolding and other construction structures

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as carpenter

Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials

Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

Ability to read technical documents and drawings

Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

Good physical condition and endurance

Must Need to Work Night Jobs, Sundays, and public holidays

Depend on our customer requirments must need to work odd timeings

4 off days monthly, rest days depend on schedule
