About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our Production & Events team. You will be responsible for building, assembling and repairing event structures, props, staging, backdrops and other fabrication items used for exhibitions, concerts, festive events and corporate setups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, cut, assemble and finish wooden structures for events
  • Build staging, platforms, panels, frames, display structures, lightboxes, booths, etc.
  • Read and interpret drawings or measurements
  • Perform onsite installation and dismantling at event venues
  • Ensure structures are safe, stable and meet project requirements
  • Repair and maintain existing items in the warehouse
  • Support Production/Logistics team during event peak periods
  • Maintain tools, materials and workspace cleanliness
  • Follow safety guidelines and company SOPs
Requirements
  • Experience in carpentry or fabrication (events industry experience is a bonus)
  • Able to work with power tools, machines, and carpentry equipment
  • Basic knowledge of woodwork, laminates, acrylic and other materials
  • Able to work overtime, weekends & public holidays when required (event-based)
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on/warehouse environment
  • Team player with good attitude and willingness to learn
  • Class 3 licence is an advantage
