Job summary

AMBER COSMOS PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site carpenter to perform general and finishing carpentry across projects in Singapore. You will fabricate and install timber works such as doors, frames, cabinets, partitions, furniture and other carpentry items per drawings and site measurements.

You will read specifications, take precise measurements, cut and assemble materials, and ensure work aligns with project schedules and safety rules. Long-term employment and independent work are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven carpentry experience.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and construction details.
• Skilled in taking accurate measurements and setting out works.
• Competent in using hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Physically fit and able to work at construction sites.
• Must follow all workplace safety and site regulations.

Carry out general and finishing carpentry works.

Fabricate and install timber works, doors, frames, cabinets, partitions, furniture and other carpentry items.

Cut, shape, assemble and install carpentry materials according to project requirements.

Operate carpentry hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and efficiently.

Ensure all works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Maintain good housekeeping and comply strictly with workplace safety requirements.

Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on site.

Strong Requirements

Minimum 1 to 2years of proven carpentry experience.

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials and installation methods.

Able to read and understand technical drawings and construction details.

Skilled in taking accurate measurements and setting out works.

Competent in using hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to workmanship quality.

Must strictly follow all Singapore workplace safety and site regulations.

Relevant trade qualifications, skills certification or construction experience will be an advantage.
