Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials using hand tools and power tools

  • Ensure that finished products are aligned, level, and meet quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with construction teams, architects, and designers to meet project timelines
  • Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and materials

Job description

A Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures. Carpenters work in residential, commercial, and industrial construction, creating frameworks, furniture, and other wooden elements according to specifications and design plans.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.

Construct, install, or repair wooden frameworks, furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures.
