Job summary

SPACE SENSE DESIGN PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a skilled Carpenter for permanent, full-time work at the Woodlands area. You will read blueprints, measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to build doors, wall paneling, partitions and furniture.

The role requires at least 1 year of carpentry experience, ability to use carpentry tools both manual and power, and the stamina to work in warm or humid environments; you may work nights, weekends, or holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• Min. 1 year of carpentry experience in construction or furniture making.
• Able to read and follow technical diagrams and measurements.
• Capable of using carpentry tools and equipment manual and power.
• Able to work in warm or humid environments as needed.
• Willing to work alone or with a team and outdoors if required.
• Flexible with hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays when needed.

• Working Location: North - Woodlands
• Working Hours: 6 days / Monday – Saturday: 8.30am – 6pm
• Salary Package: Gross Salary Up to SGD 4500 (Basic up to $3000 + OT)
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints and drawings to follow project requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials as needed
• Build and install items like doors, wall paneling, partitions, and furniture
• Use hand tools and woodworking machines safely
• Do repair and maintenance work when needed
• Make sure all work meets safety and quality standards

• Min. 1 year of experience working as a carpenter, either in construction or furniture making
• Able to use carpentry tools and equipment, including both manual and power tools
• Can read and follow technical diagrams and measurements
• Able to work in warm or humid environments as needed
• Comfortable working alone or with a team
• Willing to work outside standard hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays when required
