Job summary

A community service organization in Singapore is hiring for a role overseeing children in the CareNights program. Responsibilities include supervising children, coordinating learning activities, and mentoring using positive discipline. Job description
Overview

CareNights provides night care to children aged 5-14 years old, in order to support low-income families who need to attend night courses, doing overtime/night shift or attending to emergencies. Currently operating in Bedok North Avenue 4, Sengkang, Hougang and Agape Village (at Toa Payoh). We are hiring!

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise children enrolled in the CareNights programme on weekday evenings from 5pm to 10pm.
  • Assist in the coordination, and implementation of learning activities and programmes
  • Deliver Morning Star’s values curriculum
  • Coach and mentor children using positive discipline methods
  • Manage volunteers
  • Basic housekeeping duties
  • Training will be provided for candidates who are hired.
Requirements
  • At least "A" Level / Diploma holder
  • Childcare/student care experience an advantage
  • Possess a sense of responsibility towards the care of our clients and the organisation
  • Able to engage children from disadvantaged family background
  • Good written and oral communication skills
