Job summary

Singapore General Hospital is seeking a patient care assistant to support the healthcare team in basic hygiene care, wound dressing, blood sampling, and assisting with nursing procedures.

You will also handle ward administration such as patient admissions and discharges, arranging appointments and maintaining medical records, plus housekeeping duties as assigned to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent
• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support preferred
• English communication in speech and writing
• Able to perform 3 rotating shifts (morning, afternoon and night), including weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic hygiene care, wound dressing, blood sampling and assisting with nursing procedures
• Handle ward administration such as patient admissions/discharges, patient appointments and medical records
• Housekeeping duties as assigned
