Eastern General Hospital in Singapore is establishing advanced cardiorespiratory services. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver specialized respiratory care in ICU and general wards, utilizing advanced ventilatory support and monitoring equipment.

You will initiate and titrate ventilation, manage ventilatory modes, perform CPR, and collaborate across clinical teams to optimise patient outcomes while upholding professional standards and ongoing

Qualifications

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy/Care from recognised institutions.
• Respiratory Therapist credentials in the country of training and licensure
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certificate
• Respiratory Therapists must be certified by Respiratory Therapy Credential Evaluation Panel (CEP) to practice
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in respiratory care (ICU experience preferred)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and rotating shifts (day/night)
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in intensive care units and general wards.
• Initiate and titrate assisted ventilation.
• Manage various ventilatory modes and equipment.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
