Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager – Canopy Student Care (Eunos Branch) Ubi

Salary: $2,800 – $4,200/month (commensurate with experience)
Hours: Full-Time: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (During school holidays where reporting time may be brought forward.) For additional hours worked during non-working hours for centre events, staff will be given time off.

Canopy Student Care provides professional student care and enrichment programmes for primary school children. We are a small, closely-knit team with a heart for children, and we are looking for leaders who are excited to inspire young learners, teach classes, and support our passionate teaching staff.

Your Impact

Centre Manager – Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Conduct centre tours and foster strong parent engagement.

  • Ensure smooth delivery of programmes.

  • Maintain high standards in safety, curriculum quality, and communication.

  • Supervise staff and facilitate weekly team meetings.

  • Oversee curriculum, enrichment, and programme planning.

  • Teach and conduct classes as part of the daily programme.

  • Lead centre operations, implement strategic initiatives, and mentor staff.

  • Plan and execute daily programmes, holiday camps, and special events.

  • Maintain professional and caring communication with parents, staff, and external partners.

  • Participate in occasional evening or weekend outreach, engagement, or open house events (extra hours are paid separately).

  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Assistant Centre Manager – Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Manager in daily operations and programme delivery.

  • Assist with curriculum planning, scheduling, and team support.

  • Act as second-in-command in operations and administration.

  • Step in for the Centre Manager when necessary to ensure smooth operations.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and vendors.

  • Support planning for daily programmes, enrichment activities, and outdoor play.

  • Teach and conduct classes as part of the daily programme.

  • Participate in occasional evening or weekend outreach, engagement, or open house events (extra hours are paid separately).

  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

What We’re Looking For

Centre Manager:

  • 5+ years in student care or child-focused roles, including 2+ years in leadership.

  • Experience in programme management, and team leadership.

  • Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood, Education, or related field.

  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain with cost born by company).

  • Strong organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Assistant Centre Manager:

  • 3+ years in student care or related roles.

  • Familiarity with programme/activity planning.

  • Diploma or higher in Early Childhood, Education, or related field.

  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain with cost born by company).

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership potential.
