Job summary

TAILS UP PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Canine Trainer to join our team full-time. You will design engaging curriculums and deliver hands-on training to a community of dogs, helping them learn and thrive.

You’ll work with dog owners to report progress, apply animal welfare and behavior science insights, and continually improve the customer experience for owners and dogs alike.

Qualifications

• Experience working with dogs and a calm demeanor.
• Interest in canine behavior and management.
• Ability to work 4–5 days per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and deliver canine education curriculums tailored for dogs.
• Provide daily care and training for dogs.
• Monitor developments in animal welfare and behavior science to apply evidence-based training methods.
• Communicate progress to dog owners on their pets’ care and learning progress.
• Continuously improve customer experience and owner satisfaction.

• Monitor and apply current developments in animal welfare, behavior science, and veterinary practices to maintain accurate, evidence-based training methods
• Communicate regularly with dog owners to update them on their pets’ care and learning progress
• Continuously improve customer experience practices to enhance team performance and owner satisfaction

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working with dogs, demonstrating patience, attention to detail, vigilance, and energy
• Interest in learning more about canine behavior and management
• Availability to work 4 to 5 days per week, including weekends
