Qualifications

• Prior uniformed-service or equivalent experience preferred, ideally 10+ years, with youth-related investigations and restorative work.
• Strong conflict management, de-escalation, and calm intervention skills preferred.
• Sound judgement, discretion, and accurate incident documentation are essential.
• Basic data-entry and record-management skills, including Excel, are preferred.
• Ability to engage students firmly and respectfully, collaborate with staff, and maintain confidentiality and procedural fairness.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and supervise high-movement areas, canteen, and indoor spaces during recess and transitions.
• Record latecomers and collect devices at specified times; maintain detention and late-coming data.
• Support structured learning and reflection for students under in-house suspension and their return to class.
• Assist preliminary investigations: obtain statements, collect evidence, and prepare incident reports for senior staff.
• Supervise detention and maintain attendance and behaviour records; coordinate restorative follow-up.
• Maintain discipline records and report to the Student Management Committee, upholding confidentiality and fairness.
