Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an entry-level calibration technician to work in a hands-on laboratory setting. The role involves performing calibration checks on balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers, and chromatography systems, with emphasis on accuracy and documentation.

You will support preventive maintenance, troubleshoot basic issues, maintain calibration records, and ensure compliance with SOPs and ISO requirements while coordinating with service providers as needed.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in science-related or relevant technical field.
• Relevant technical experience is welcomed.
• Strong interest in technical, laboratory or engineering work.
• Detail-oriented with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to follow technical procedures and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and performance checks on laboratory equipment such as balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers and chromatography systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Diagnose equipment issues and assist with repairs or replacement of parts.
• Maintain accurate calibration records, reports and certificates.
• Follow SOPs and ISO requirements.
• Monitor spare parts and assist with inventory and purchase orders.
• Liaise with external service providers when required.
