About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Café Operations Assistant Manager to oversee daily outlet operations, lead a team of service professionals, and contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of our café brand. The role combines on-ground management with strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and ensure smooth daily café operations, including both front-of-house and back-of-house functions
  • Plan, review, and implement operational SOPs to maintain consistency, efficiency, and service excellence
  • Lead staff scheduling and rostering to optimise manpower and control labour costs
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires
  • Monitor service quality and food safety standards to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Analyse sales and customer feedback to identify operational improvements and marketing opportunities
  • Work closely with management to develop new business strategies, partnerships, and promotions to drive outlet growth
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and procurement planning
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Requirements
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in F&B or café operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
