Job summary

WeLead Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a drafting professional to develop dimensioned drawings and 3D models from engineers and customers. You will create parts lists, catalog pages, illustrations, and ERP-supported assets for new products.

Responsibilities include prototype support, customer communication, and creating 2D/3D CAD assets using Autodesk Inventor and BIM tools. Travel up to 10% locally and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or electrical drafting or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally up to 10%.
• At least 2 years of drafting experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor or similar CAD system.
• Prior experience with Ultra Ethernet Consortium products is preferred; Autodesk certification preferred.
• Aptitude for electro-mechanical products and applications.
• Ability to create 2D or 3D models and assemblies in a CAD environment, Autodesk mechanical preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude: work with production teams in assembly and testing.
• General electrical knowledge and ability to read wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Develop dimensioned drawings and 3D models based on input from engineers and customers.
• Perform low and medium complexity design work on components and assemblies.
• Develop parts lists for new products.
• Create catalog pages, illustrations and animations; support ERP tasks.
• Assist production with prototypes, assembly, testing and methods.
• Provide CAD support for engineering drawings and customer solutions.
• Maintain CAD and BIM libraries for public use.
• Interface with customers and support listings with safety certifications.
• Attend customer meetings, site visits and sales events.
