TAI SIN ELECTRIC LIMITED is seeking a Production Technician in Singapore to operate, set up and monitor cable manufacturing machinery. You will perform basic maintenance, record data, and ensure products meet specifications and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience in cable production and a proactive approach to quality and process improvements. The candidate will support OEE initiatives, maintain accurate records and collaborate with the production team to meet schedules while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cable manufacturing production.
• Practical knowledge of cable manufacturing processes and production machinery.
• Experience operating, setting up, adjusting or monitoring cable production equipment.
• Able to perform basic machine troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Able to understand production specifications, work instructions and basic technical information.
• Able to monitor process parameters and identify production abnormalities.
• Able to perform basic numerical calculations and maintain accurate production records.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, 5S and manufacturing quality practices.
• Knowledge of OEE or production improvement activities would be an advantage.
• Able to work effectively with production team members and communicate operational or quality issues clearly.
• Able to carry out operational requirements of the role in a manufacturing environment involving production machinery and noise.

Responsabilités

• Operate, set up, monitor and perform basic maintenance of cable manufacturing machinery.
• Record production data, machine parameters and material usage accurately.
• Inspect semi-finished and finished products according to work orders and specifications.
• Identify abnormalities, defects or deviations and take corrective actions.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized work area and follow 5S practices.
• Support machine OEE, productivity improvements and continuous improvement activities.
• Stop or expedite production when significant quality or safety issues are identified.
• Report machine abnormalities or quality issues promptly to supervisor.
• Carry out other production-related duties or projects as assigned.
