Job summary

Venti Technologies Pte. Ltd. seeks a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our core development team in Singapore.

You will design, develop, and deploy clean, fast, and reliable C++ code powering autonomous vehicles, with hands-on experience in a fast-paced robotics environment. The role offers exposure to production-quality code, hierarchical state machines, ROS, Linux development, and collaboration with engineers on advanced autonomy features.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related fields.
• Experience writing production-quality code in C++.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Experience with hierarchical state machines.
• Experience with ROS or similar middleware.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage state machines (hierarchical state machines, SMACH, Behavior Trees, or custom architectures) for complex control logic.
• Implement advanced features for autonomous vehicles.
• Design and develop clean, fast, reliable code.
• Create and maintain technical design documents.
