Job summary

Autonomai Recruitment partners with a technology-led trading firm to hire an experienced C++ Site Reliability Engineer. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, infrastructure, and production reliability to design, build, and operate platforms supporting latency-sensitive trading applications.

You will develop high-performance C++ systems and improve deployment, observability, automation, incident response, and operational resilience, enabling trading platforms to operate

Qualifications

  • Strong production C++ development experience.
  • Experience with large-scale, high-availability systems.
  • Solid Linux internals and performance knowledge.
  • Experience debugging complex production issues with advanced tools.
  • Automation and infrastructure tooling experience.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and fault tolerance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ services in production trading environments.
  • Improve reliability, scalability, and operational performance of latency-sensitive apps.
  • Build tooling for deployment, configuration, health checks, and automated remediation.
  • Investigate complex production issues across layers (app, OS, network, infra).
  • Develop monitoring, logging, tracing, and SLI dashboards for critical systems.
  • Enhance release engineering with safe rollout and rollback mechanisms.
