Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer to assist the Consultant Team with technical and design issues at the site. The role requires a diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in concrete repair or marine structures. Responsibilities include supervision, checking drawings for discrepancies, and ensuring safety on site. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Consultant Team to attend to technical and design issues at site.
  • Provide standing supervision as directed by the Consultant team.
  • Check construction drawings for discrepancies before installation.
  • Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings.
  • Enforce safety precautions on site.
  • Resolve site issues and ensure project completion.

  • Assist Consultant Team to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Consultant Team
  • Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Consultant team.
  • Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
  • Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
  • Maintain site records.
  • Estimated commencement of work in December 2025.
Job Requirement
  • ITE certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary.
  • Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) with valid RTO Practising Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years working experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
  • Preferably with experiences in concrete repair and/or marine structure.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills.
