Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy based in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer to assist with site technical and design issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and must hold an ITE certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a valid RTO Practising Certificate. The role includes site supervision, inspection, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
  • Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee with valid RTO Practising Certificate.
  • Preferably with experiences in concrete repair and/or marine structure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Consultant Team to attend to technical and design issues at site.
  • Provide standing supervision as directed by the Consultant team.
  • Check through construction drawings and highlight discrepancies.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings.
  • Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
  • Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Attend site meetings, inspections, testing and commissioning.
  • Maintain site records.

  • Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Consultant team.
  • Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
  • Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
  • Maintain site records.
  • Estimated commencement of work in December 2025.
Job Requirement
  • ITE certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) with valid RTO Practising Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years working experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
  • Preferably with experiences in concrete repair and/or marine structure.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills.
