AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong C++ expertise to join their engineering team.

You will develop and enhance high-performance data processing systems, focusing on scalable microservices and distributed applications in a collaborative environment. The role emphasizes performance optimization, low-latency design, and working with cloud and container technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience using C++.
• Experience building microservices and asynchronous, multi-threaded applications.
• Solid Linux development and debugging experience.
• Good knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with data serialization technologies such as Apache Arrow, Parquet, Protocol Buffers, or FlatBuffers.
• Experience working with gRPC, HTTP/REST, and WebSocket protocols.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and containerisation, including AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of distributed systems and large-scale data processing architectures.
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly market data, trading systems, or order gateways, would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of memory management, performance optimisation, and low-latency system design is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain C++-based microservices and backend applications.
• Optimise software performance, scalability, and reliability for large-scale data processing.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure system stability.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to uphold high development standards.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure and support teams to streamline deployments and operations.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of distributed data processing pipelines.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements in modern C++ development.
