Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and research potential suppliers for machine components, materials, and procurement items both locally and internationally.
• Continuously seek out new suppliers and assess current ones to ensure a reliable pool of qualified suppliers.
• Engage with suppliers to procure high-quality materials and products for the business.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and leverage negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, lead times, and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers on delivery schedules, quality concerns, product specifications, and certification requirements.
• Coordinate supplier-led training sessions for designers and engineers when necessary.
• Oversee and track project costs to achieve cost savings and maintain accurate project cost data.
• Manage inventory turnaround times efficiently.
• Handle purchase order management and processes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
